Thanks Mysti, Red and Sky for the great card and everyone who wrote and drew and that fabulous piece of paper.
Mrs Rafferty brought home a brilliant card that Red, Mysti and Sky sent me. It was so good that Raffa Bearnitez and Liverpool Monkey nagged me to take a photograph of them with it.

And then there was the most beautiful drawing and writing from all the children in Y1….it’s fabulous. Thank you.

Raffa has a new friend. At the moment he is called Liverpool Monkey but he might get a new name.
They are both very excited because when they came home after seeing their Aunty Laura try on her wedding dress at the wedding dress shop they found some lovely birthday cake at their front door. Well if there is one thing they love (not quite as much as Liverpool Football Club but nearly!) its birthday cake…so they opened the wrapper and tucked in!! I didn’t get a crumb!!
We think we know who left the the beautiful birthday cake and Raffa and LIverpool Monkey are both in on Tuesday so if the kind people are passing they will be able so say thankyou.
Just while Raffa and LIverpool Monkey and tucking into their cake I managed to pinch my computer back to say that I have been very touched and privileged to have received and read the beautiful and kind comments that have been left on the blog. They have cheered me up lots and helped me loads….much more than I ever thought they could. I have quite a big cutting and sticking day next week and the the thoughts and kind words are just the medicine to help.
Hope to see everyone soon. Mr Rafferty

Jamie’s crackin’ card
Raffa Bearnitez ran to our front door this morning, he always does when he hears letters being delivered, and he brought it back and opened it before I had chance to see what it was! Well when I managed to pull the letter off him I found it was a Get Well card from Jamie. I had to tell Raffa off for opening a letter addressed to me but he said he was sorry. He was even more pleased when I took a photograph of him with the card. Raffa and myself really enjoyed getting the card.
