Make sure that you say “Well Done” to the big kids in Y2!
Kieran went to Deyes High School to watch his brother in the Street Dance show and while he was there he saw Y2 doing their dance as well. Here is what he had to say,
“Mr Rafferty, you should have seen your ‘old’ Y1s from last year in the dance show at Deyes tonight, they were amazing. I was there with my family watching my big brother Connor street/break dance in the show, he was amazing too. Wish you could have seen it. Im having a great week this week, I’ve had Beaver of the week, been the dance show and got the strange blue ball today in school. Im very happy. Please get better soon. Kieran + mum. xxx”
There are some photographs on Y2’s blog…..so go and have a look, Mrs Davies will be delighted!

Bethany’s Birthday Cake
I would love to have some of your birthday cake Bethany so make sure your mum or dad don’t get chance to eat it all up. If you see Mrs Rafferty you could pass a nice slice to her….but make sure it’s well wrapped up because Mrs Rafferty is partial to a bit of cake especially if there is a bit of chocolate on!
I am feeling better, resting lots and getting ready for the big day. I can’t wait to see Jamie’s card he made with his nan and George and Grace sent a lovely message.
Raffa Bearnitez sends his best wishes and he would have loved to have typed this but he thinks his paws are a bit fat to do typing and all the words and letters would get mixed up.
Very well done Finley for being Champion Child ….great news…but I don’t know who gets the Strange Blue Ball each day…so if it’s you let me know.

It sounded like Jacob was going to have a great day on Sunday. Here is his comment, “hello mr rafferty, how are you doing? We are going to play football today at Ballswood Park and I am going to try and send you some photos with my new camera. love from jacob xxx”
It’s great to hear about all your activities and I can’t wait to see Jacob’s photographs.
I had a weekend in Soham to see Amy, Megan and Hannah. They loved to see Raffa Bearnitez and they helped to eat my tasty Rice Krispie chocolate cake from the little rascals in Y1 and the Gingerbread man from the big kids in Y2. On Saturday we stayed at the girls’ house and on Sunday we had a little walk around Brandon Forest….and just got home before the rain. Today I went to the hospital to be checked out to see if I am ok to have my operation and I am!!
Here are some of my photos…..where are yours….send them too me and I’ll out them on.
Watch out for the rabbit paws walking on our pictures!!

We are lucky to have some new friends in far away sunny Scotland. They go to what looks like a lovely school called Tarradale School and you can visit them by going to http://tarradaleblog.edublogs.org/
In fact their blog looks so good I have started a new section of links (the bits down the side of our blog) called Brilliant School Blogs.
What shall we call the bear? Well there are lots of names that have been suggested with Mrs Power and Mrs Rowlands and Harry and George (Everton supporters) thought of Dixie (Not after Dixie Dean by any chance!!??) I’m thinking of RB Bear! I haven’t quite decided yet! Don’t forget to vote!
I’m sorry but I just can’t tell you what is about to happen to the rabbits except that Amy, Megan and Hannah’s daddy has ………………. I just can’t say.
