Who is the real Rafa?
I had to laugh a little bit (although it did hurt my sides!) when I read http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/news/drilldown/N162539081215-1609.htm
What do you think?

Hello Y1. Sorry I can’t be in today but I’ve had a nasty kidney infection (which also meant I couldn’t go and watch Liverpool on Saturday!).
I hope Miss Newham is letting the baby Jesus have some peace and you are trying hard with your carols.
I hope to see you very soon.
Mr Rafferty
Oh and well done Grace for being Champion Child, your singing is beautiful and you are a great person to have in our class. I will do your photograph and put it on the blog when I get back.

The model of the stable in Bethlehem that we have in our class has Baby Jesus in his crib. But Miss Newham sneaked into our class and put the baby Jesus in the tree! The next day He appeared in the chimney of the stable. What is happening? I thnk Miss Newham is going to lose some Teachers’ Golden Time this week! We can’t tell you about the note on yellow paper that appeared in our class after the Baby Jesus disappeared!!!

Famous George and the amazing, longest paper chain in the whole wide world!
Apologies to famous George for not getting his Champion Child picture on earlier. I was away to sunny Soham at the weekend and after being abducted by aliens on the way back I didn’t get chance to see a computer until tonight. So very well done George and keep up the good work.
We made the longest paper chain in the world today. It stretches from the window in Y1 to the edge of Reception! We also had some more beautiful home made decorations brought in to make our class look even more christmassy (a picture of the Tinsel Monster will appear soon!)

This afternoon we watched the Juniors production of The Pied Piper of Hamelin and we thought it was great!

On Friday we are going to start logging in (on our own) to Knowledge Box. Knowledge Box is a great educational IT resource that we use across the curriculum for resources, videos, activities, and music. It also has the excellent facility to become a way of teaching about message boards and (sort of) emailing that is safe and secure and fun. It is the message board and emailing (sort of) that we are doing tomorrow.
If you would like to find out a bit more about Knowedge Box go to http://knowledgebox.wordpress.com/
They use wordpress blogging…just like us!
