It’s not that long before we are back so here is a great BBC website to practice your skills.

A little bit of catching up.

March 10th, 2008

We had lot of activities last week but because Pablo went away to Soham to play with his friends Amy, Megan and Hannah for the weekend this post is about a little bit of catching up.

First of all George was out Champion Child on Friday. He has done very well with his writing ideas – keep up the good work George.

On Friday we also found lots of puppets and masks so we looked after them all day. Can you spot anyone you know?

Pablo had an exciting weekend. He travelled to Cambridgeshire on Friday Night and was woken very early on Saturday morning to do some cuting and sticking and colouring. Then he went to Cambridge and had a tour round the historic town……..

He also went to the Disney store and helped to buy some very (very) noisy High School Musical toys which were especially noisy at 6:45 on Sunday morning but even though he was a little bit tired he did some more cutting and sticking and colouring!

In the afternoon Pablo went to Megan’s party and when everyone had sung Happy Birthday Pablo packed his bags and drove all the way back to Liverpool. He had a good sleep in the back of the car.

Oh and don’t forget it is World Box Day on Wednesday!

The Mayor, the Mayor’s driver and Faye

March 3rd, 2008

It was nice to be back today. Miss Hartley was very impressed with Y1 after looking after them on Friday while I was on my Reception/Y1 Transition course. Faye greeted me with the news that she was Champion Child and she had not had her photograph taken for the blog so………………..here it is!

We had a visit from the Mayor of Sefton today to celebrate Y5 doing very well in their Water Safety course and some big people who had completed Mrs Brankin’s numeracy course. He came into our Numeracy lesson but he left his posh car in the car park so we went round to have a look at it and have a talk with Stan the driver. He was very chatty and let us take a picture of him and his car. We thought the registration number was just right for our class.
