Nintendo Wii

July 26th, 2007

Thanks again for all the lovely presents and gifts. Mrs Rafferty has an special liking for things that begin with ch, can you guess what that is? I used the PC World vouchers towards a Nintendo Wii……..it’s great…………no its not, it’s fab. My son Luke with his first wage packet bought a PS3………………so the house is full of ace gadgets! Mrs Rafferty doesn’t mind too much ‘cos she’s quite happy with her ch stuff!

Where in the world is Pablo Bear.

July 21st, 2007

Pablo Bear is going on his holidays soon but we don’t know where he is. The last photograph of him was at Gullivers World but since then we haven’t seen him and Pabletta is getting worried.

If he does return his first week is at  http://www.green-dot.co.uk/papillons for a little rest and then for a few weeks he is going to meet all his other bear frends just outside Mont de Marsan.

French Bear has moved house and Auntie Anne and Uncle John are busy getting their house ready………or they better had be or the luxury accommodation that Mrs Rafferty is expecting might just end up being a tent in the woods!

Scouse Bear is returning from………………..well we dont really know……..he sort of comes and goes. Sydney Bear is still with Auntie Pam and Uncle Keith in Sydney and it is a bit of a long way to go, but you never know…..

The gathering of the Bear Clans is just starting to get ready!

Pablo has said that he would like to go to Barcelona ( he is spanish and from Madrid) to see our spanish teacher Carme and her husband Albert and as long as he doesn’t mind the drive over the Pyrenees back into his homeland he might just get there.

Whatever his plans for his holiday are he needs to get back home pretty quickly. So if you know where he is at the moment let me know.

By the way, you can read about other bears at http://www.barnabybear.net

Last day in Year 1…………

July 20th, 2007

…………….seemed to be like all the other days! Very busy and very active!

We would like to thank all the children for their hard work, effort, cheerfulness and sense of fun throughout the school year. They are a credit to their parents and carers.

The genorosity and kind words that we, and a lot of other members of Green Park staff, recieved today were lovely to hear but, especially, very humbling. It is quite difficult to find the rights words to say. Thank you.

Have a lovely summer holiday and if you have any ideas for the website or activities and places worth visiting, let me know.

We had a fabulous time at Gulliver’s World on Monday. The rides were great, the weather was great and most importantly the children were great! Lots of them said “it’s the best trip ever!” Lots of thanks to our helpers, Mr Reader, Mrs Bradbury, Mrs Beeston and Mrs Derby.

There are lots of photographs at www.greenparkschool.phanfare.com

Liverpool Bear has arrived at Camp Wildwood

July 10th, 2007

If you look at the recent post about Liverpool Bear you will see he has finally arrived at his new summer home in Maine, USA. He arrived, a little bit squashed but safe and sound and we should get some photographs soon. www.campwildwood.com shows the kind of things he will get up to.

By the way Pablo came with us to Gullivers Worlds but we haven’t seen him since! I hope he wasn’t eaten by the dinosaurs!

We had a great day at Gulliver’s World!
