Red’s story

One day there was a little girl called Jennifer Jane.Her grandmother called her ‘Jenny’.One day grandmother had to go out to the market.She said to Jenny.”Jenny,if you use the magic coin ,remember this.Do not wish more than three wishes.”o.k grandmother , I will remember.”said Jenny.

Then grandmother went out.Then the clock struck 8 o clock.But grandmother wasn’t home still.Then Jennifer jane said…” I wish there was light in the lane.”..So then lights appeared in the lane.Green,red,yellow and blue lights appeared.Then she said..” I wish there was music.”.Then a man appeared playing the violin.Everyone came out to dance even Mr Gotobed came out in his nightcap.

Then Jennifer jane said “ I wish I had a beautiful dress”.Then grandmother came home and she remembered that she was supposed to have supper ready..But it was the forth wish and the man disappeared,the lights disappeared and everyone in puddle lane went back into there houses.

Then she says..” oh grandmother,grandmother.I had three wishes and I use them all up the coin has gone.Don’t worry Jenny say’s her grandmother.We were happy before we found it.We shall be happy now the coin has gone.

So Jennifer jane and her grandmother had there supper on the table.One day the coin came back.Then Jennifer jane wished there was friends.

And that’s the end.

The Producers…..a note for mums and dads

Mrs Rafferty and I went to see the Producers in Manchester last night. It was a Christmas present from some of our friends and it was very funny, especially Peter Kay.

Driving home we listened to Colin Murray on Radio 1. He has a section devoted to music found on the internet and one track was by The Killers called “Romeo and Juliet”….originally done by Dire Straits. It was fab!

Hello Y1

We’re back! We had a great time in Madrid. There were lots of lovely, kind and friendly people. We visited some fab place and had loads of fun. Jenny and Jasmine will tell you lots more when you see them. Pablo got into a little bit of trouble when he wanted to drive a police car and was a bit sad when he got told off by a policeman in the park! (We do have a photograph but it is on Mr Hewer’s memory stick at the moment) He has got loads and loads of new friends who look lots like him. I think you will see them when you come back to school on Monday.

I think Mrs Cassidy has gone to the Bahamas on her yacht for a little rest because she looked after you last week so I hope you were all very nice and well behaved.

Mrs Rafferty saves the day!

Mrs Rafferty saved the day for Pablo today. Just when he thought he could not fit any more into his suitcase Mrs Rafferty sat on the case and squashed everything in. It just needed a little bit extra weight!

…..we had another busy week………ask Mrs Beeston! So instead of writing all about it we thought that we would show the pictures (although we forgot to take the camera out for our wood rubbing walk! ………………….Mrs Cassidy – what is she like!!)

We have counted coins, found out about fiction and non fiction books, did PE with Mrs Treanor from Deyes High, did out second session of road safety, took part in skipping, throwing and singing, did our best with going for goals and finished it all off with the Celebrity Assembly.

Mrs Beeston came in to help, Mr May is getting ready, Mrs Caddick was there and Mrs Cassidy did a little bit as well!
